What is a Green Card?
A Green Card entitles its holder to permanently live and work in the USA.
As an official ID document, it also gives the Green Card owner almost all the rights of a US citizen.

1. DV Lottery:
The Diversity Visa Program (commonly called a "DV Program" or "DV Lottery") is a program created by the Department of State.
Each year, the Diversity Visa program allows more than 55,000 randomly selected people to obtain permanent residency (commonly called a “green card“).
The winners are selected at random by a computer, and they and their immediate families can live and work in the usa and receive additional benefits as a green card holder.
Who can participate?
In general, anyone who passes the eligibility check can participate in the program.
Entering the Diversity Visa lottery (DV lottery) involves filling out an official form online.
